December 06, 2004 - 6:26 p.m. The other day, Spencer, Rebecca, and I were on our way to Target to pick up some much needed supplies. We made it out to the parking lot and the ubiquitous question arose: who's going to drive? Rebecca was absolved of responsibility since her car was down by LaFortune and so Spencer and I decided to face off in a round of paper-rock-scissors, our usual decision making procedure. We turned toward each other and stated that the winner would drive. And here's how it went: 1, 2, 3....rock. Both of us. 1, 2, 3....scissors We chuckled. 1, 2, 3....rock At which point, exasperated, both of us shouted "I'm driving" and headed off toward our respective cars. I thought Rebecca was going to collapse from laughing so hard at our inability to play paper-rock-scissors. It's not that we are the same; it's that we're tuned to the same frequency. It's no wonder.
And in case you care, I ended up driving. I guess you could say |
