December 20, 2004 - 11:49 a.m. I had another accident while cutting up potatoes. This is my second of the kind, and I'm thinking perhaps I should avoid knives, potato peelers, and other sharp objects. This one was worse than the last. Last time, I was slicing through a potato (think x-plane) and managed to barely slice the heel of my hand. Yes, it bled, but just barely. This time, I was trying to peel that potato as quickly as possible, and managed to peel part of my left thumb instead. Yes, it bled, and it still kinda hurts. But a band-aid and neosporin are fixing that. When I took last night's bandaid off this morning, it started to bleed again, which is a bummer. I wish I had a happy bandaid instead of this plain old flesh-colored one. But c'est la vie. I never thought my friends from TU would let me live down the first potato mishap, but after this most recent one, I may be banned from potatoes for my own safety. ...before & after...
