October 11, 2004 - 11:15 p.m. Should I be concerned about being too introspective? Have I crossed the line to self-absorbed? Can I still see other people for their struggles and triumphs? I just notice that people look at me funny when I make these observations about myself. (If you don't tell anyone, sometimes I even make a slighly wrong observation to see if anyone corrects it. But not often, so don't worry.) It's like no one else really sits and examines themselves very often. Maybe I'd get my homework done faster if I didn't sit and think about how it made me feel. Maybe I'd get more done for humanity if I didn't talk about my dreams and my pity for humanity so much. ...before & after...
