I have the greatest friends ever. Tonight Spencer and Nyssa sat in the rain for an hour while Rebecca and I played flag football (Yes, Mom, I joined a flag football team last week. I don't think that came up). Rebecca and I were cold and wet and dirty, but at least we were involved. They just watched us like the loyal people they are. It's a quality time thing, and it means alot.

It's silly, but I have to brag about how hardcore tonight was. My first play of the game, I took a charge while trying to block (I'm a lineman) and landed in a huge puddle. So I was super wet and dirty the rest of the game. Fortunately, the ref called the penalty and we got like ten yards or something. But I took the hit. And it didn't even hurt...much; okay, my nose hurt.

And then later, I made a tackle. But it wasn't just any tackle. I dove for the girl's flag, and landed in the mud on my knees. I was so excited that I kinda held the flag up and then threw it down like I did something important.

I'm not really important to the team. Quite frankly, I'm almost useless. But I tried to do my part, and I wasn't afraid to get dirty. Most importantly, I had an absolute blast.

David says that I should just wait for snow football. Wow.
