May 16, 2005 - 9:27 p.m. You know, I get so worked up about how things might be different, about how things might change when I'm not looking. But nothing ever does. We're all still the same people that we were. The changes are usually the addition of new friends; we don't ever really lose the old ones. I find that it's not really so hard to return to my old life after living my new life; I'm not unfaithful to the past by living in an alternate present. I'm fortunate enough that I can be thankful that things stay the same, that I get to hold on to my good life. Others are not so blessed as I am. I am loved. Something is ringing about how perfect love drives out fear. ...before & after...
